Joe Rose is a California employment lawyer who began his legal career in 2001 after a successful public service career as a firefighter and paramedic. He founded Rose Law APC in 2004 and has since represented thousands of laborers, tradespeople, professionals, public safety officers, and labor organizations across a wide range of public- and private-sector industries. His commitment to working people is both professional and personal. He is a retired but still active union member of Sacramento Area Firefighters, IAFF Local 522, his father is a lifelong member of IATSE Local 44, and his family’s labor roots extend to Italian immigrant relatives who worked in the coalfields of Appalachia, where they were active in organizing miners in the early twentieth century. Joe Rose has represented MCEA and its members since 2008.
